In late 2019 I started using Toggl, to track how much time I was spending on my client work, whittled right down to the task. I had reports for how much time I was spending on social media, reporting, website updates.
But then things took a turn in March.
Things that usually took 15 minutes were now taking 30 – what’s wrong with my work ethic?! My productivity is lacking!Done Tracking Work Time
Making sure tasks don’t expand to fill your entire work day is a bummer, and it’s a real thing, too – Parkinson’s Law. BUT, these are not typical times. We are sitting in our homes during a global crisis, hoping our friends, family, and co-workers don’t die on a day-to-day basis.
